Fiala Aesthetics frequently has clinical studies underway, looking for improvement in our methods and techniques. These studies can often be a way for patients to try a new method or new technology at a significantly reduced price, if they qualify for the study.
Current Clinical Studies
- Study on laser treatment of adipose tissue. This study involves treating a small portion of the abdomen with the fat-melting prototype laser, two weeks prior to abdominoplasty surgery. This section of tissue will be removed during the tummy tuck, and compared to adjacent non-lasered abdominal tissue. Currently, the study is only for abdominoplasty patients, and is IRB approved.
